Verbal Behavior and speech therapy is also essential for communication with children on the spectrum. By teaming up with various speech therapists to bring it in-house, we have found that time spent in-house applying ABA techniques with speech therapy is more effective.  Not only is it more convenient for the parents, but it cuts down on "wasted" time adjusting to a new setting. Considering some speech therapy sessions are as short as 30 minutes, every minute not wasted trying to acclimate our children from one setting to another is valuable time saved.
